Do you know who our British Open Water champion is? …
Simon (Colchester), who has been with us for just over a year started his swimming journey as a national 5km open water swimmer and represented England and Great Britain for a couple of years. These days Simon still swims as a master in the pool and at open water events and currently holds a number of records including a British National Masters Record in 200m Butterfly, which he achieved just this year.
Natalie (Colchester), started the year by achieving her STA Baby & preschool qualification and finished the year by marrying her long term partner in Otterburn, Northumberland. Natalie is one of our popular instructors and has developed many swimmers this year to achieve amazing results.
John (Hemel Hempstead), swam for Luton in his childhood becoming National Team Triathlon champion 4 years in a row, from 1985 – 1989. John has been with us for 2 years now working out of our Hemel Hempstead venue with great successes along the way.

Being with us since April 2019 she said she has enjoyed her teaching immensely and is very proud with how much so many of her swimmers have achieved in a small space of time. We look forward to meeting the new baby and seeing her back with us very soon.
Hannah (London), started her swimming journey with us as one of our students and progressed to a water based assistant for us. In 2016 Hannah took her first teaching qualification and worked with small groups to gain her experience before then going on to achieve her full teachers qualification in April 2019. Hannah said “As someone who was late in learning to swim I realise now how important it is to know how to swim and I feel proud when my swimmers advance to higher classes or swim unaided for the first time”.
